Hmmm.. I fuckin love this game. :D     I keep dying on level 2 but I love the concept. The art is a really nice touch as well.

Thank you! Next release will have lowered difficulty. For now I can give some tips which help me with the battles: stay in line with your units and try to focus down low hp enemies first. Killing a troll gives you a new healing potion, so it may be worth it to focus the trolls.

Hey, I was looking into the source and I found some json data files. How did you create those json files? Do you have a tool for editing json data? I'm looking for one.

They were written by hand. Json is human-readable text, so they can be created and read with any text editor. To use them for your game, you need Json parser library which shouldn't be hard to find for most languages.

The game is fun but very hard.

After 5 games i managed only level3

Thanks for the feedback. We can drop the difficulty for next release.

The concept here is awesome! It's like a Mount and Blade roguelike.

I liked the squad leader mechanic, their shouting orders really gives the battle some life. The AI isn't bad either, my spearmen usually manage to form a wall to protect the archers. Artwork is nice and upgrade between battle offered a nice sense of progression. The only confusing thing was moving along the map and having it scroll with you. Since the terrain is so bare, it was hard to tell that our group was moving forward until we saw the enemy army.

It would be really cool to see some new mechanics introduced, like special attacks or squad control.

Great submission!

Thank you! We are considering to keep working on the project.
